FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ammunition, in particular, to case-free cartridges for smooth-bore small arms. A case-free cartridge comprises a bullet with a hollow cylindrical body, a missile charge from combustible material and an ignition charge. The bullet body is equipped with a solid head part with a core. The tail part of the bullet body is expanded and pressed by a sprocket in a cone-shaped manner. In the middle of the cylindrical part of the bullet body there is a circular groove with through holes, in which the ignition charge is placed.
EFFECT: simplified cartridge design.
