FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: cartridge comprises a casing with a slope, a propellent charge, an igniting primer, a missile element and a piston. The piston is installed in the bottom part of the casing. On the outer cylindrical side surface of the piston at the side of the casing slope there is a circular ledge. In the central part of the piston end there is a cylindrical groove, on the bottom of which there is a ledge or ledges with an inclined side surface. In the piston there are through holes at the angle of inclination to the horizontal plane of the piston, for passage of gases from the missile charge placed in the entire free volume of the casing. The missile element enters the cylindrical groove on the piston, and in its bottom part has a slot or slots with an inclined side surface, where a similar ledge or ledges enter in a detachable manner, arranged on the piston. In the conical part of the casing slope there is a circular conical obturator installed, having one circular rib and a circular bore, with an inclination coupled with the surface of the circular ledge on the piston.

EFFECT: creation of rotary motion of a missile element in a casing.
