FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: coupling comprises two half-couplings and a resilient element connected to the half-couplings. The resilient element is made from two flat springs, each of the springs is fitted by a central part and two symmetrically set side flanges made solid with the central part and folded in one direction in respect to the central part. Each flat spring is fitted by the sections at its end to be attached to the half-couplings. The flat springs are connected to each other by the central parts, and the side flanges of the adjacent springs are folded in the opposite directions.
EFFECT: increased range of compensation characteristics at radial, axial and angular displacement of the ends of the shafts being coupled.
