FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method and invention can be used for contact point welding with shaped travel of top electrode of gauzes, carcasses and other articles from wire, reinforcement rods, metal strips etc. Welding electrodes are fed to parts by extending of at least one top electrode from welding table and displacing it above parts to their intersection. After welding job, top electrode is returned to welding table. Machine housing top can make said welding table. Machine can be mounted under solid welding table with cut-outs for passage of electrodes or in carcass that has no solid tabletop. Said machine allows welding of articles of whatever sizes and turning over of the article at said table. Machine can be built in automatic lines. Because of no-stick-out distance, decreased are machine power consumption, overall dimensions, weight and production costs.
EFFECT: possibility to weld 3D structures and to use extra appliances.
