FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention suggests the method for manufacturing of hybrid negative plate used in the lead-acid battery. Technical result if the claimed invention lies in improvement of the battery discharge characteristics at low temperature and high-speed charge and discharge characteristics under different tripping conditions (PSOC). In the described method carbon mixture is shaped as a sheet, at that the above mixture contains two types of carbon materials and at least binding material mixed together. The two types of carbon materials are represented by the first carbon material, which is electroconductive, and the second carbon material having capacity and/or pseudo-capacity. Then the composite negative capacitor plate is made by binding under pressure of the sheet made of the carbon mixture with surface of a wet plate filled by active material of the negative electrode.

EFFECT: lead-acid battery equipped with the above composite capacitor plate has advanced discharge characteristics.
