FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: device for independent suspension wheel alignment includes bracket and plates with sockets for eccentric sheaves, adjusting bolt with eccentric sheave immovably installed on it. The bolt is secured on the bracket by means of nut through eccentric sheave installed under the nut and made capable to be moved during installation in direction of bolt axis only. At the threaded butt end of adjusting bolt, additional recess or spanner shank is made. Plates and eccentric sheaves are made with marks for camber and caster adjustment. The marks are located with variable pitch so that when bolt is turned for an angle created by adjacent marks wheel alignment angles change for the same amount. Eccentric socket is made so that to limit bolt turning in one or other direction to an angle not exceeding 180°.
EFFECT: reduced wheel alignment labour input due to possibility to rotate adjustment bolt and fix it with nut from one side of bracket, visual control of adjustment bolt movement amount during its rotation and unique dependence of bolt movement direction upon direction of its rotation.
