FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: belt conveyor (1) includes conveyor belt located along transport path and containing a number of elongated support links (4) to support product being transported. The links are oriented across the belt and provided with a number of connecting rods (20) to interconnect links. Each link includes driving element (131) made of magnetic material and driving gear (100) containing electric magnets located along conveyor belt to produce magnetic field for driving force application to driving elements near magnets thus forming linear actuator. The driving gear is located on outer side of curved section.
EFFECT: reduced necessity in conveyor maintenance or repair and belt wear.
