FIELD: transportation of unit loads. SUBSTANCE: conveyor belt made of flexible material has flat central part and two flat edge parts connected with central part. Flat central part has at least one cross reinforcement member to provide bending rigidly in direction square to longitudinal axis, and longitudinal reinforcement member. To reduce stretching of belt in longitudinal direction each of two flat edge members is connected by means of hinge joint section and has one cross reinforcement member. Summary width of edge parts is equal to width of central part and width of hinge joint sections is less than width of central part. Belt conveyor has endless flexible belt coiled into tube, supporting rollers and guide members. Conveyor belt has flat central part and edge parts connected with central part edges by means of hinge joint sections. Central and edge parts have one cross reinforcement member to provide bending rigidly relative to belt longitudinal axis. Central part has longitudinal reinforcement member, and edge parts are made for stretching in longitudinal direction of belt. Summary width of two edge parts is equal to width of central part. Each hinge joint section is made for flexible bending relative to belt longitudinal axis. Width of binge joint sections is less than width of central part. Guide members have pressure member to hold edge parts in working position relative to central part. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 24 cl, 24 dwg
