FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to box-shaped packages containing drains. The tap for use with an assembly of the bag with box-shaped packages, comprising a housing, a cork, an assembly of the upper seal and an assembly of the lower seal. The housing comprises a tap nozzle in the form of an elongated tube having an inner surface and an outer surface, an opening for a handle at a first end and a dispensing opening at the second end. The opening for the nozzle extends to the elongated tube between the first and second ends and can be mounted in fluid communication with a bag of the bag assembly with the box-shaped package. The cork is structurally made with the ability of mounting and movement in an elongated tube of the housing so that the outer surface of the cork is facing the inner surface of the elongated tube. In the open orientation the opening for the nozzle is in fluid communication with the dispensing opening. In the closed orientation the opening for the nozzle is prevented from fluid communication with the dispensing opening. The assembly of the upper seal comprises a surface area of the upper seal and an edge of the upper seal located between the opening for the nozzle and the opening for the handle of the housing.

EFFECT: upper seal assembly supports continuous sealing engagement between the closed orientation and open orientation of the tap, which enables to eliminate dripping liquid from the tap after placement it in the closed position.
