FIELD: method for application of concrete on outer surfaces of long bodies, for example, pipes or rods. SUBSTANCE: method consists in placing the pipe in vertical position by turning hoisting mechanism 27 around horizontal axis, placing circular mould 50 about outer surface of section 10 of pipeline so that circular space should be formed, feeding concrete mix to this space, moving the circular mould upward along section of pipeline 10 and lowering the section to horizontal position. Device for realization of the method has frame structure 21 made in the form of tower. Pipeline section 10 is set in vertical position inside structure 21 by means of mechanism 27; pipeline section 10 is delivered to mechanism in horizontal position by means of carriage 12. Device is also provided with fixtures for holding the pipe in vertical position inside frame structure 21 and circular mould 26 for forming the circular space.
