FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: gear wheel includes body, gear rim with teeth and a pair of ring pads fixed on the body and covering teeth edges. Gear rim is made of separate teeth that are not connected to each other. Each tooth is fixed on an axis fixed between pads so that it can be turned in the wheel rotation plane. Between the tooth base and the wheel body a clearance is provisioned. The tooth base has a rectangular protuberance depressed in the wheel body. The wheel body has a companion recess with a possibility of protuberance movement with the tooth rotation. The protuberance plane located opposite to the lateral side of a tooth, exposed to shock loads, adjoins to a companion plane of the recess, and between an opposite plane of the protuberance and companion plane of the recess the elastic element is located.
EFFECT: shock strength of teeth gear wheels is increased.
