SUBSTANCE: gear wheel comprises a body, a gear rim with teeth and a pair of circular patch pieces attached to the teeth end faces and part of the wheel body adjoining the teeth, the gear rim consists of separate teeth not fixed on the wheel body, every tooth comprises a pair of plates bent according to the profile of the side working surfaces of a tooth being a design tooth for this wheel, plates along their whole length are installed in grooves provided in the patch pieces and form a profile corresponding to the profile of working surfaces of the design tooth, plate ends are fitted by protrusions, and the grooves in the patch pieces are fitted by mating recesses, one patch piece is removable.

EFFECT: minimisation of costs on gear wheel manufacturing and improvement of gear wheel repairability.
