FIELD: instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: measurement system includes a primary measuring transducer (MW) of a vibration type and an electrical converting unit (MB) electrically connected to it. The primary measuring transducer has at least one measuring pipe (10, 10'), at least one vibration exciter, the first vibration sensor (51) for recording of at least vibration on the inlet side of at least one pipe and for shaping of the first primary signal (s1) of the primary measuring transducer and the second vibration sensor (52) for recording of at least vibration on the outlet side of at least one measuring pipe for shaping of the second primary signal (s2) of the primary measuring transducer. The electrical converting unit supplies a setting signal (iexc) for the vibration exciter, which causes at least vibration of at least one measuring pipe and generates by means of the first primary signal and by means of the second primary signal, as well as at use of the measured Reynolds number, it generates the measured pressure difference value (XΔp), which represents pressure difference occurring between two specified supporting points of the flowing medium.

EFFECT: improvement of measurement system, as well as rather accurate measurement of undesirably high pressure drop of the flowing medium.
