FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: measuring system comprises a vibration-type transducer (MW), through which during operation a fluid medium passes, for generation of oscillatory signals corresponding to parameters of fluid medium , and also an electronic converter (ME) electrically connected with the transducer for control of the transducer and for assessment of the oscillatory signals, sent from the transducer. The transducer (MW) has, at least, one measuring pipe (10, 10') for conducting of fluid medium; at least, one electromechanical oscillation exciter (41) for active excitation and/or sustaining of bending oscillations; at least, one measuring pipe in a useful yield mode; at least, one oscillation sensor (51) for registration of vibrations and for generation of self-characteristic vibration; at least, one measuring pipe for measurement of oscillatory signal (s1) of the transducer. The electronic converter (ME) again by means of the oscillatory signal component, which expresses by itself a mode of bending oscillations, in which, at least, one vibrating measuring pipe performs bending oscillations, at least, with one antinode; in case of bending oscillations in the yield mode, at least, with two antinodes, the message (XKV) on cavitation is generated, which signals on the occurrence of cavitation in the fluid medium.
EFFECT: ensuring of timely and reliable detection of cavitation.
