SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lamina materials, particularly, to laminated material of periodic structure and to method of its production. This laminated material can express the variety of structured colours like holograms by forming of thin periodic structure that expresses the structured colours. Said periodic structure is formed by irradiation of laser beam with periodic profile of intensity distribution on film surface opposite the basic material.

EFFECT: thin periodic structure formed by laser beam without deterioration of mechanical properties.
