SUBSTANCE: retardation film has a substrate with a plurality of grooves on its surface and a retardation layer. The grooves stretch in a defined direction on the surface of the substrate. The retardation layer is in contact with the surface of the substrate and contains liquid crystal material. The liquid crystal material is levelled on the direction of the plurality of grooves and is polymerised. The pattern formed by the plurality of grooves has a periodic structure with deviations.
EFFECT: preventing loss of efficiency of using light.
