FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method and system for determining a period of a chemically active material setting are claimed. The method includes continuous measurement of an electric property of the material in order to obtain the time dependence of the specific resistance or its representation. The time dependence is used for the determination of the time of the setting beginning and the time of setting ending. The time of the setting beginning is determined as the time when the fastest rise of the specific resistance starts and the time of the setting ending is determined as the time of the local maximum of the specific resistance.
EFFECT: increase of the method efficiency.
