FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: in the method of restoring tightness of radiator, comprising heating the compressed air, its feeding into a supersonic nozzle and forming in this nozzle of supersonic air flow, feeding to this flow of the powder material, acceleration of this material in the nozzle by the supersonic air flow and its direction on the nontight part of the surface of the treated radiator, a pad is additionally used, made in the form of a wire made of aluminium alloy and mounted in proximity with the nontight part of the surface.

EFFECT: providing high quality of restoring, increase in adhesion strength of the gas-dynamic coating and resistance of the sealing connection, the ability to work at maximum pressure.
