FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, powder spraying. SUBSTANCE: method involves supplying flow of heated pressurized air into supersonic nozzle and simultaneously feeding two different inorganic powder materials therein, with first powder material being introduced into flow at site upstream of nozzle critical section and second powder material being introduced at site downstream of nozzle critical section. Method may be used in different fields of mechanical engineering including manufacture and repair of articles, which must have improved air-impermeability, corrosion and fire resistance. EFFECT: increased efficiency in spraying of powder materials without deteriorating quality of applied coat. 12 cl, 1 tbl
