FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: seal assembly (86) arranged between spinning component (82) and stationary component (84) of rotary mechanism comprises teeth (94) and combs (96). Teeth (94) are arranged at first axial seats (89) and spaced apart along spinning component (82) rotational axis. Combs (96) are fitted in said first axial seats (89) providing axial matching with teeth (94). Every comb has surface (106) abutting on one of seal teeth and first and second opposite lateral surfaces (112) extending from said surface (106) in radial inner direction. Triangular recess (116) is made at first, second surfaces or at both lateral surfaces (112).
EFFECT: minimised leaks through seal owing to swirling created by triangular recesses.
