FIELD: turbo-machines.
SUBSTANCE: sealing assembly comprises a rotating element, passing through a fixed part, and a sealing element. Sealing element is formed on end part of rotating element and comprises a set of first and second grooves, partially passing along circumferential length around part of outer surface of rotating element. Row of first and second grooves is parallel to other row of first and second grooves. First and second rows of grooves are separated from other first and second rows of grooves by part of outer surface of rotating element. Each of first and second rows of grooves defines axial flow path, providing, in axial direction of steam flow through sealing element and rotation of rotating element, excitation of first and second rows of grooves of tangential steam flow and reducing axial steam flow through part of outer surface of rotating element in comparison with axial flow of steam entering sealing assembly. Another invention of group relates to turbomachine comprising said sealing assembly.
EFFECT: group of inventions increases efficiency of sealing turbomachine.
