FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: rotor support comprises radial thrust bearing with its outer ring fitted in housing mechanically coupled, in its turn, with stator, and rotor journal. Inner ring of said radial thrust bearing is made integral with rotor journal and provided with channels to feed oil to balls and radial thrust ball bearing cage. Said outer ring of said bearing represents s split design. Channels are made in said outer ring between its end surfaces to communicate with oil discharge channels made in the housing of said bearing.
EFFECT: longer life, decreased sizes and weight.
