FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: filtering element contains central perforated tube (3), which filtering material is wound on. Filtering material consists of applied on each other layers (1) of fibrous materials and layer (2) of elastic fabric sorbent based on viscose technical tissue, horizontal fibres of which are directed perpendicularly to central perforated tube (3). Said layers are fastened on tube (3) and to each other by vertical clamping separable devices (7,8), which are placed on basic, intermediate and terminal sections of filtering material winding with possibility to regulate required effort of tension of layer (2) of elastic tissue sorbent in horizontal and vertical directions on each section of winding to create specified density of filtering material. Layers (1) of fibrous materials consist of carbon fibrous sorbent, fibrous ion-exchange material and fibrous material of mechanical purification. To realise the process of regeneration of layers (5, 6, 2) separable vertical clamping devices (7, 8) are removed from fixed position and moved clockwise to release tension in layers (1, 2). Layers (5, 6) are regenerated without removal by means of electric current (other method can be applied), and material of layer (6) must be heat resistant, otherwise it must be removed from filter before regeneration. Regeneration of layer (5) is carried out separately.
EFFECT: creation of effective filtering element for purification of drinking water with high operation resource due to possibility to regulate required density of filtering materials and their regeneration during entire service term.
