FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: corrosion-resistant martensite-ageing steel of a martensitic grade, containing 0.03% of carbon, 10.5% of chrome, 8.0% of nickel, 4.5% of cobalt, 1.8% of molybdenum, 0.3% of vanadium, the rest - iron and impurities, is subject to heat treatment including high-temperature austenitisation at 950÷1150°C combined with hot plastic deformation, heating and isothermic exposure in the temperature range of 580÷620°C for heat stabilisation of secondary austenite, low-temperature austenitisation in the temperature range of 740÷770°C, hardening by temperature of 740÷770°C, cold treatment at 70°C and ageing at 500°C.
EFFECT: improving the structural stability and resistance to hydrogen embrittlement of high-strength corrosion-resistant martensite-ageing steels meant for the production of high load elastic metal packing of cryogenic technique.
