SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to a method for detecting bone metastases accompanying renal cell carcinoma (RCC), involving administering an effective amount of 124I-labelled carboanhydrase-IX antibody or its antigen-binding fragment in an individual in need thereof, visualising by positron emission tomography (PTE) for measuring a radiant intensity in the above individual and detecting the bone metastases.
EFFECT: using the declared method enables providing higher sensitivity and reliability of detecting the bone metastases accompanying renal cell carcinoma.
