SUBSTANCE: method for automatic protective switching comprises steps of: determining, by a network leaf node, part of services on a first transmission path or second transmission path as service(s) to be switched according to change of bandwidth when it is observed that the bandwidth of the first transmission path changes, and the service(s) to be switched is(are) switched between links on the second transmission path and the first transmission path; and sending, by the leaf node, a partial switching message to a peer leaf node of the leaf node on the first or second transmission path, wherein the partial switching message includes at least indication information on service(s) to be switched or information on bandwidth change.
EFFECT: improved efficiency and quality of service transmission.
