SUBSTANCE: for the jet engine thrust generation, a high-temperature-and-pressure mass carrier is produced in a combustion chamber and accelerated in a subsonic part of the nozzle to the critical speed with the further acceleration of the mass carrier flow speed in a diverging section of the supersonic nozzle part. The nozzle subsonic part walls are composed of one or several impulse or stationary jet curtains blown from the combustion chamber into the main flow to make the flow from the combustion chamber be shaped in the subsonic nozzle section like it is in the case of a solid wall. The nozzle is completely arranged inside the combustion chamber to make outlet cross-sections of the combustion chamber and the nozzle comply. The closed chamber produced around the nozzle supersonic section is evacuated. The proposed device comprises the combustion chamber, pumps and nozzles to feed an oxidiser and fuel, a fuel mix ignition plug, the nozzle subsonic and supersonic sections, pylons to secure the supersonic nozzle section to the combustion chamber and a vacuum pump to evacuate the chamber around the nozzle supersonic section. This nozzle is arranged inside the combustion chamber while its subsonic section is composed of the jet curtain formed by slotted nozzles.
