FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to floating cranes (floating structures) intended for lifting, mounting, reloading and ship-salvage jobs. The proposed floating heavy-lift crane comprises a hull, side pontoons connected to the central pontoon by vertical swivels fitted at the crane hull aft and a lock arranged at the side. The side pontoons are fitted at rotation about the vertical swivels to the hull transom ends and are rigidly locked by appropriate locks.
EFFECT: decreased overall dimensions of the vessel in transportation mode, enhanced performances are achieved.
