SUBSTANCE: air and food product cooling unit includes a compressor, a condenser, a temperature-regulating mechanism, a conditioner evaporator, a cooler evaporator and a condensate collection and discharge tray. It has a cope representing an evaporator, which is connected with cut-off valves to a wall above a window opening of a room, curtains, a mechanism for hanging curtains to the cope with a possibility of their contact to the edge of the condensate collection tray for transfer of condensate to curtains and its evaporation from their surface.

EFFECT: use of this invention allows cooling the air in a room with no electrical energy costs.
