FIELD: low-temperature drying; food products.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to low-temperature drying of food products, such as beet pulp, and can be used in the food industry to preserve essential nutrients, such as pectin, in the dried product. The dryer unit contains a low-temperature dryer, which consists of preliminary and final sections, in which air is used as the working substance. The dryer unit uses various piping to circulate refrigerant and air, fans to pump air, and a heat pump unit. The pipeline for exhaust air removal from the low-temperature dryer includes a cyclone for the low-temperature dryer, an evaporator section and a heat pump condenser returning to the low-temperature dryer to form a closed loop. The heat pump installation consists of a compressor, a condenser, a thermostatic valve, two evaporator sections, a precondenser, a liquid tank and a pump. In this case, the supply line of the dried air to the final section of the low-temperature dryer contains a device for regulating the temperature of the supplied air, and the heat pump unit is equipped with lines for supplying burning refrigerant vapours from the compressor to the evaporator section and solenoid valves that serve to supply refrigerant vapours to the evaporator section. The heat pump unit is also equipped with a second thermostatic valve for changing the operating mode, which is independent of the first thermostatic valve and is switched on in turns with it.
EFFECT: reduced energy consumption of a heat pump installation.
