FIELD: drying.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to low-temperature drying of food products, for example, beet pulp, and can be used in food industry to preserve the most important nutrients, for example, pectin in the product being dried. Drying plant contains low-temperature drying plant and consists of serially connected preliminary and final sections. Air is used as working substance. Besides, pipelines are used, through which coolant and air circulate, fans for air injection and heat pump unit. Pipeline for discharge of waste air from low-temperature drying plant includes cyclone, evaporator section and condenser of heat pump plant with air return to low-temperature drying plant with formation of closed circuit. Heat pump unit consists of a compressor, a condenser, two independent temperature control valves to change the operating mode, which are switched on in turn, and two sections of the evaporator. Heat pump unit is equipped with lines for supply of hot vapours of refrigerant from compressor into evaporator section and solenoid valves serving for supply of refrigerant vapours into evaporator section; by pipelines, through which condensate flows from evaporators of heat pump unit to liquid tank. Excess condensate is supplied from the liquid tank to the pre-condenser by means of a pump. At that, drying plant additionally contains two adsorption devices with solid absorber installed in parallel before final section of low-temperature drying plant, at the same time adsorption devices operate alternately in moisture absorption and regeneration mode. Each adsorption apparatus is equipped with a heat exchanger connected to the compressor of the heat pump unit, as well as an air duct for removing moisture during regeneration of the solid absorber.
