FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic engineering, namely to fish protection apparatuses, and is designed to protect juveniles and full-grown fish during the water intake. Fish protection apparatus comprises a receiving chamber 1, mesh fence, cleaning tool with brush 11, fish diversion tool and fish pump. Housing 15 of the fish pump is formed as two truncated cylinders. In each of the two truncated cylinder hollow cylinders 16 with a vertical rotating shaft are eccentrically mounted with a clearance. With that, one cylinder 16 rotates clockwise, and the other one counterclockwise. Suction chamber 1 is made in the form of two helical sections 3 with the central dividing wall 2. In each of two sections 3 mesh fences are installed made as mesh cylinder 6 with a vertical rotating shaft. With that mesh cylinders 6 rotate in the direction of the receiving window 7 of the fish diversion device located at the junction of the wall of the helical chamber 8 and the central dividing wall 2. Cleaning device with brush 11 is permanently installed near the receiving window 7 of the fish diversion device. The reception window area 7 of the fish diversion device is adjacent to the lateral surface of the mesh cylinder 6. Receiving window of the fish diversion apparatus 7 is connected to the receiving pipe 12 of the fish pump. Outlet pipe 13 of the fish pump is connected to the pipe 14 of the fish diversion apparatus.

EFFECT: efficient collection and removal of juvenile and full-grown fish into fish diversion apparatus is ensured.
