SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of controlling a compressor station. A method of controlling a compressor station (1), which includes at least multiple compressors (2) connected to each other into a network, may not only form a switching strategy through an electronic control system (3) for influencing the amount of compressed fluid medium in the station (1) available for one or more users of the station (1), but is also capable of adapting the amount of compressed fluid medium available for one or more users of the station (1) to future operating conditions of the station (1) adaptively to the amount of compressed fluid medium collected from the station. Before launching the switching strategy, different switching strategies are verified by a forecast simulation method, taking a model of the station (1) as the basis, from verified switching strategies using at least one established quality criterion, the relatively most preferable switching strategy is selected and the selected switching strategy is sent to the system (3) for execution in the station.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at foreseeing change in pressure in a compressor station.
