FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organic chemistry, namely to a method of obtaining 3-(chloromethyl)-3-(alkoxymethyl)oxetanes, consisting in the following: alkylation of 3,3-bis(chloromethyl)oxetane is carried out with aliphatic alcohols in the presence of catamine AB as a catalyst for 4 hours with the following component ratio, wt %: 3,3-bis(chloromethyl)oxetane 9.5; sodium hydroxide 2.4; catamine AB 0.15; dimethylsulphoxide 84; alcohol 3.95. Obtained compounds possess a number of valuable properties and can be widely applied as corrosion inhibitors, plasticisers, SAS, medicinal and biologically active preparations.
EFFECT: increased output of the target product with the improvement of its quality.
