FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to thermal power industry, particularly to method of stable and efficient fuel burning in vortex furnace of power plant. Method involves vortex flow formation and stabilisation. Vortex flow is formed due to mirrored symmetrical position of burners at opposite walls of vortex furnace and directed discharge of hot gas, and stabilization is ensured by division of the main vortex flow into at least two correlated whirls formed by change of tilt angle of internal surface of bottom sole and by shift of drain holes of top sole in the vortex furnace, torsional and forward speed vectors of correlating whirl movement against longitudinal axis of vortex furnace are directed by double spiral path in one direction while angular speed vectors of correlating whirls rotation around their axes are directed opposite to each other.
EFFECT: enhanced stability and efficiency of fuel burning in vortex furnace of power plant without the use of costly and complex equipment.
