FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: method of coal combustion, subjected to mechanical and plasma treatment, includes mechanical activation, ignition and combustion. The coal is pre-crushed and divided into fine and coarse fractions, of which the fine coal fraction is subjected to mechanical activation and fine-tuning to grain size of 40 mcm or less, then the obtained microground coal is introduced tangentially by means of injection into the first gasification stage and ignited with a starting plasmatron. The feed is made in the direction, opposite to the direction of tangential injection of the plasma jet from the starting plasmatron, the coarse coal fraction, the air stream and combustion products of the microground coal from the first gasification stage are simultaneously introduced into the second gasification stage tangentially to its longitudinal axis and in one plane, perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the second gasification stage, the pulverized coal mixture is ignited with mircoground coal combustion products, using the heat from combustion of the microground coal. The efficiency of the gasification process and combustion of the pulverized coal mixture in the second gasification stage is provided by the pulse switching on of the additional operating plasmatron. The injection of the plasma jet from the additional operating plasmatron is carried out along the axis of the second gasification stage, perpendicular to the plane of the pulverized coal mixture feed and in the direction, coinciding with the direction of the axial movement of the combustion products of the pulverized coal mixture within the second gasification stage.
EFFECT: invention allows to increase the feasibility indicators for combustion of coal fuel by means of preliminary mechanical and plasma treatment.
