FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: method involves measurement of time intervals corresponding to movement of at least one rolling element to at least one specified distance, and time intervals corresponding to full rotation of rotating bearing ring or its turn to at least one specified angle. At that formed is a set of time intervals which are the difference between time interval, corresponding to movement of rolling element, and time interval, corresponding to rotating ring turn, and values of this set characteristics are compared to the specified values ranges. The device includes displacement pickup of rolling elements of separator elements, unit of measurement of time intervals between pulses from pickup, reference signal pickup, corresponding to full turn of bearing rotating internal ring and opening joint account timer, which is a part of unit of measurement of time intervals between pulses, and unit of generation and analysis of time intervals sets.
EFFECT: providing higher measurement accuracy, sensitivity to bearing defects and possibility of earlier detection of bearing defects.
