FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering. Regulated AC voltage stabiliser using the principle of width modulation, in a single-phase version comprises six transistors with free wheeling diodes, connected in a three-phase bridge circuit, DC poles of which are connected to DC capacitor, and three AC poles are connected as follows: - first pole through the winding of smoothing choke - to the phase entry of AC network; - the second pole through the winding of the smoothing choke - to the phase lead of the load (consumer); - the third pole - to common neutral of AC network and the load; the entries of AC network and load are shunted each by AC capacitor. The stabiliser control system contains the following standard units: load voltage regulator, network current regulator, synchronization unit, modulation unit, and also two special units: a) voltage distribution unit, which gets at the input referring load voltage levels and network side and calculates the references, entering the modulator generating width-modulated switching functions; b) control unit of PWM-rectifier designed as a double-loop system of the slave regulation; which is used for generation of sine setting signal for the slave current regulator. The stabiliser can be designed both using the three-wire, and four-wire load. It can be designed using the three-level circuit. The control system of the PWM-converter can be implemented either as hardware, or software, using the fast signal processor.

EFFECT: decrease of voltage level in DC link of PWM-converter.
