FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an electronic weapon. The electronic weapon comprises a mounted module of deployment from which at least one electrode connected with the wire is released, conducting the actuating current through the target, for suppression of the motor activity of the target. The binding wire, also called the thread, conducts the actuating current. One or more electrodes perform one or more of the following functions in any combination: binding the thread with the electrode, deployment of the thread from the unit of deployment, puncturing the material or tissue of the target, fixation in the material or tissues of the target, focusing of the electric field before ionization or during transmittance of the actuating current, formation of the ionized channel for the actuating current through one or more gaps and the current density distribution relative to the target tissue area and/or the target tissue volume. For the electrode which comprises a housing, a dart and a thread, spreading may be performed by the end part of the thread, protruding frontwards from the housing and activating the dart, ionizing the air, or conducting the current through the target tissues.

EFFECT: reduction of labour intensity of the electrode assembly with the thread is achieved, reduction of damage to the thread during assembly.
