FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to device (1) for air ionization. The device contains case (2) containing fan (7), which contains rotor (8) for generation of a pulsating air flow, and exhaust pipe (9) for direction of the specified flow. The case includes device (14) for ion production, which contains high-voltage electric generator (15), electrode (16) connected to generator (15). Free end (17) of the electrode, formed of a bundle of threads (18) made of conductive material passes to the right from exhaust pipe (9) for release of ions due to a corona discharge. The device additionally contains diffusor (38) equipped with pipe (39), which passes in the elongation of exhaust pipe (9) and determines boundaries of compression chamber (40). The diffusor has expander (41), which elongates pipe (39) and contains a number of channels (42), which pass from inner side (43) of expander (41), adjacent to compression chamber (40), in the direction to opposite outer side (44).
EFFECT: ionizer, capabilities of which are increase due to moderate electricity consumption, which allows for diffusion of ions into a significant volume.
