FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: method of generating an amplitude and phase-shift keyed pseudo-random signal is characterised by receiving a digital information signal, modifying said signal by multiplying with a multi-position amplitude and phase-shift keyed pseudo-random sequence (PRS) generated by generating N≥1 PRS, wherein sub-elements of each i-th PRS, where i=1, 2, …, N, are divided in time into two equal parts, the first of which is formed by calculating the sine of a certain pseudo-random angle in the (0, 2π) interval, and the second by calculating the cosine of said angle, wherein the multi-position amplitude and phase-shift keyed PRS is generated by multiplying N generated PRS, after which the obtained amplitude and phase-shift keyed pseudo-random signal is amplified and emitted in space.

EFFECT: generating an amplitude and phase-shift keyed pseudo-random signal having higher information transmission noise-immunity.
