FIELD: personal use articles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a detachable handle for a kitchen utensil. The handle has a side wall stretching upwards with its section bent to the outside; the handle contains an inner jaw and an outer jaw that are designed so that to enable propping against the inner and the outer surfaces of the side walls accordingly; the above two jaws are designed so that to enable movement relative each other from the opened into the closed position (wherein they clamp the side wall) and backwards. According to the invention, the outer jaw contains a groove wherein the free end of the bent section of the side wall is inserted (propping) when the jaws are in the closed position.
EFFECT: as a result, thanks to the three contact zones, the gap between the kitchen utensil and the handle is considerably reduced, even to zero.
