FIELD: personal use articles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the kitchen utensil item (1) comprising a housing (3) with a bottom (4) and a side wall (5) and at least one gripping element (10, 11) located on the said side wall (5) and comprising a first section (20) and a second section (40). Each section (20, 40) is pivotally attached to the housing (3) with the ability of rotation from the storage position to the operating position at which these two sections (20, 40) form a single unit extending from the side wall (5) in the radial direction. In the storage position, each section (20, 40) is located substantially along the side wall (5), at that the second section (40) has a gripping part (47) protruding over the housing (3) that enables the user to hold the kitchen utensil item (1) during insertion of this item (1) to another kitchen utensil item (2) of the same type, but larger or during removal from it.
EFFECT: safety of use and stability of the stack occupying the smallest possible space is ensured.
