FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering and can be used for spark-safe fuelling of aircraft. Proposed method for filling aircraft tanks at pressure comprises fuel feed in fuel system with total capacity of tanks approximating to 10000-50000 l at working pressure of 3.5-4.5 kgf/cm2 and fuel feed rate of 2500 l/min from ground filling means to aircraft fuel intake unions. At a time, standard aircraft fuel gage is used to define fuel volume flow rate to decreased it be means of throttling orifices arranged in fuel feed system to magnitudes nor higher than permissible boundary volume flow rate equal to 1000 l/min whereat generated charge of static electricity is not that high to ignite vapour-fuel mix in tank above-fuel space.
EFFECT: higher safety.
