FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method consists in supplying neutral gas into above-fuel space of tanks, definition of system operation efficiency with various consumption of neutral gas, with variation of fuel amount in tanks, by means of pressure measurement in pipeline of neutral gas supply and in drain tank, monitoring temperature near membrane module of neutral gas generator, detection of oxygen concentration reduction with the help of oxygen sensors. Also additionally when neutral gas generator is disconnected, first of all efficiency of system for neutral gas supply into tanks is assessed, nitrogen is supplied into input pipeline of aircraft part of neutral gas system from ground source, in each fuel tank proper installation of headers is checked for nitrogen supply into above-fuel space, by means of assessment of identical reduction of oxygen content in steam and air mixture in all compartments of tank with the help of instruments that monitor content of oxygen, and then nitrogen supply from ground source is disconnected, neutral gas is supplied from working generator of neutral gas, and efficiency of neutral gas generator operation is identified.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of system operation for reduction of oxygen content in steam and air mixture of fuel tanks.
