FIELD: mining operations.
SUBSTANCE: flushing unit of the drill bit comprises a housing with a channel and a slot formed with an annular bore, nozzle with a sealing element mounted in the slot, and the stop located in the annular bore of the slot, and the fixing unit. The fixing unit consists of a plate, a latch and a protective casing. The free end of the latch in the operating position is placed in the groove of the plate to interact with the side wall of the plate and is fixed relative to the plate by the screw. The protective casing is formed cylindrical three-stage with the inner channel, the stage of larger diameter is made with the ability to rest on the surface of the housing, the step of the average diameter has an outer thread mating the inner thread in the slot of the flushing unit, and presses with its end the plate and the latch to the stop and the nozzle, and the step of the smaller diameter terminates near the nozzle end. At the output end of the protective casing there are slits for the key.
EFFECT: improvement of efficiency of operation of the flushing unit.
