SUBSTANCE: multi-purpose periodical action drum for treatment of tobacco leaves and fibres contains a frame, the drum body with blades cross its inner surface, a drive, a system for heating the material being treated; the body has a cylindrical-and-conic shape and is loosely mounted on the hollow support axle passing through the hub of the cog wheel rigidly mounted on the butt-end wall of the body cylindrical part with the drum support axle is attached (with one end) to the post whereon the driving shaft is installed in bearing support, the shaft gear engaged with the drum cog wheel.

EFFECT: ensuring mechanism charging and discharging, mixing process intensification and ensuring the possibility of its usage for mixing, moistening and drying.
