FIELD: tobacco industry. SUBSTANCE: unit has cylindrical housing of larger diameter, cylinder of smaller diameter positioned within cylindrical housing, steam pipes defining cylinder generatrices, and plates positioned in spaces between steam pipes. Blades are secured to inner and outer surfaces of plates. Steam box is positioned at side adjacent to dead end of cylindrical housing on pin between end and roller bearing of drum first support. Second end of cylinder has charging window formed as cylinder with inner helical blades and outer ring, which defines with two supporting rollers second support of drum. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and reduced material usage. 3 dwg
