FIELD: measurement technology.

SUBSTANCE: method provisions the measurement of signals of thermoelectric couples and four-wire resistive sensors. Each pair of wires corresponding to two leads of the resistive sensor, is shorted. The measurements of signals of thermoelectric couples are performed in the mode of four-wire measurement of signals of the resistive sensors. After that the potential leads of the thermoelectric couple are changes and the measurement is repeated in the mode of four-wire measurement of signals of the resistive sensors. The results of these measurements are compared with the corresponding valid results of integrity of thermoelectric couples and by results of comparison the integrity of thermoelectric couples is verified, or the type of their defect is identified. Devices (versions) implementing the specified method are also offered.

EFFECT: possibility of automated verification of integrity of connected earthed thermoelectric couples and diagnostics of their faults in measuring information systems for heat resistance measurements.
