FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method for temperature measurement using thermocouples, in which a thermal resistor is located in the area of free ends of thermocouples, is proposed. Electric voltage of thermocouples is measured, and electric resistance of the thermal resistor is measured. Temperature of thermal resistor and electric voltage of thermocouples of the free end are determined as per the temperature characteristic and temperature of thermal resistor, which corresponds to their type. Measurement result of electric voltage of thermocouples is added to their electric voltage of the free end, and temperature of working end of thermocouples is determined. The second object of the invention is information measurement system for temperature measurement using thermocouples with measurement channels of electric voltage of thermocouples and electric resistance of thermal resistors of the universal measuring device, in which one or more thermal resistors of the measurement channel are installed in location places of free ends of thermocouples. Temperature adapter with an input connector and an output connector of the mating type is proposed as well, in the space between which the thermal resistor is located.
